I'm getting a no command error after every 10 or so times I turn on my Hiby R5s. I've done factory rests and cleared the cache partition etc but nothing seems to work. (I was hoping the latest firmware update might clear the problem.) Does anyone else have this issue?

Hello. Just installed UAPP on my R5s. I also installed BubbleUPnP on my tablet to control the R5. Unfortunately I can't seem to find my music which is stored on an external sd card on the R5. I get a folder empty message when I select storage.

I put the R5s 4.4mm balanced output through a LOXJIE P20 and a pair of HD 6XXs and it sounds gorgeous - especially classical and jazz.

UPDATE: I moved my router and now the R5 consistently registers 3 bars instead of two and everything (streaming and Hibylink) works perfectly.

I've paired my Hiby R5s with my Xiaomi mi5 and the R5s shows up in Hibylink. But when I click on the R5s in hiby link I get the message : "unknown device connection failed". I've reset the wifi/bluetooth on the R5s and cleared data in Hiby Music on the R5s. Do you have any idea what could be wrong?

Yes. It disconnects and buffers all the time. I invariably have to reselect the the wifi - which takes forever! It always happens when I'm streaming.

Thanks for the tip. I created a guest network but still only get two bars. I would really like them to update the music player because I can't get Hibylink to work on the R5s with any device - my old R3 Pro worked really well. The Shanling Music app with Synclink connects every time!

Update. I contacted Hiby about the wifi problem. They suggested: a factory reset (no luck); try another network (impracticable); or return to Hiby for a check (too expensive). On balance, I think I will keep the R5s and just download and listen to streams offline - streaming is not really a deal...

I have exactly the same wifi problems on my R5s. The signal is nowhere near as strong as on my phone or tablet. It rarely picks up the wifi on startup and drops out after 10 minutes. I've given up streaming it's so bad. (I had no such problems with my R3.) I think there could be an issue with...
