Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)
Can I ask another question about the X4 as I got a GC7 and have been disappointed with the channel balancing. Does the balance work to level what's being playing through the USB against the Line in? And if so, when it's at the end of each mix is only one source audible? The GC7 will reduce...- RockSloth

Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)
Thanks for the response. I was only looking for it to mute the mic but have the knob remain in volume mode to quickly unmute and adjust volume mid game. The options out there are limited. I've got a g6 but it doesn't have a mic mute function and the sidetone has a latency issue (I missed...- RockSloth

Hi, about to order a Sound Blaster X4 for PS5. I'm looking for a hardware volume knob, mix in external audio from a mobile or tablet in the line in and mute. Can anyone confirm that to mute you first need to press the mic button then press/click the volume knob or does the volume knob...- RockSloth

Any idea if it supports multipoint connections? Or even remembers 2 devices? Another one, Faststream codec support? Cheers- RockSloth

What’s your thoughts on the EBS2? I’m between them and the monk lite. Not sure if I’m being drawn in to the aesthetics too much.- RockSloth

Nice, I think in a way I’ve sort of done Mod 1 already by swapping the pads for deeper pads. I was thinking the other day if there was a way the could be made to be a bit more open to let some of the sound bleed out a bit (complete novice at this).- RockSloth

I had these in the basket but it had expired when I went back. Does anyone know if the majority of the mx500 buds with 15.4mm driver (traceless, Vido, stellar, etc.) are all using the same driver?- RockSloth

Form factor question as I'm not sure if I've had bad luck, it's just my ears or something else but has anyone had great sounding buds that have this cover directing the sound? Sorry not sure what to call it. They always feel tinny, distant and muffled compared to the classic single grill.- RockSloth

Nice, I use it so I can have a uJays cable with a mic on the K702s so I can go on calls for work. The K245s do get a bit bossy at times.- RockSloth

Dunno, that's why I was asking! Just saw them and was curious after the supermarket Mixx earbuds got decent reviews here. Apologies if it's an AliExpress finds thread.- RockSloth

I've got one of them, they are quite well done. If I could solder I'd make more myself. It's very niche but probably has about £1 of parts in it.- RockSloth

Hi, It’s been a while but I’m back. Been meaning to update here for ages. I ended up contacting the seller and after a bit of back and forward ended up exchanging the K245s. The new set don’t seem to have the bias. I think I was just unlucky and had an unmatched/defective pair. Liking them much...- RockSloth

Well I went for them and they arrived late Friday night. So getting used to them but I feel at times the bass is a bit of a mess in amongst the rest of the mix. I put the Brainwavez pads on, not had to use Corti's lace hack but I've got one on standby if they start to slip. Aesthetically I think...- RockSloth

At the risk of annoying the active users here, I'm going to ask again to the new k245 owners. What's your opinion on the openness/ability to hear your own voice and ambient room noise / surroundings? Corti has already given fairly detailed answers but I'm just looking for some more opinions...- RockSloth
