Beyerdynamic dt 880 250Ω vs dt 880 600Ω and opinion on dt 1990

How difficult is to drive the 600 ohm version compared to the 250 ohm? I switched from a hd 660s 150ohm to the beyer 250ohm so of course the drive is much less sensitive, but how much more the same drive for the 600ohm?

Recording Impulse Responses for Speaker Virtualization

you probably have your hrir in vb cable that's listened on your tv that's also using dolby atmos, you should first disable the emulation from hesuvi the real dolby atmos is the one you hear in cinemas, i doubt that a tv can replicate atmos, even hesuvi has its atmos hrir but it's just a gimmick...

Recording Impulse Responses for Speaker Virtualization

yes, i did it on purpose, i started recording the hrir without going below to 0.5 headroom, after that i tried multiple recordings almost below 0 headroom to see if the warping effect on the right channels was fixed, i also tried to normalize the hrir in audacity like in this guide There's no...

Recording Impulse Responses for Speaker Virtualization

no i meant i recorded the processed hrir from another audio card, the thing i asked isn't related to impulcifer, it's a different thing, there's no headroom file it's not about clipping or anything, i recorded in many different audio levels, this weird warping audio comes from all the right...

Hello guys, i recently recorded the hrir from my old soundcard connected with an audio interface, my only problem is that i hear all the right channels weird, the left is ok, i don't know if is something related to my ears, can you try for yourself and see if that happens to you too? i attached...

Recording Impulse Responses for Speaker Virtualization

i could say it's misplaced mics in the ear canal that could affect this, i'm not sure i'm curious how did you find that values?

Recording Impulse Responses for Speaker Virtualization

Found it! now i know why there's warp in all these measurements... looks like having max volume to get better signal to noise ratio is under some levels, i plotted two of the same recordings made with less volume from MPC and now the warp's gone completely! i also used your awesome program to...

Recording Impulse Responses for Speaker Virtualization

oh wait, do you mean you equalize the 7 .wav measurements of the speakers? by doing so don't you only change the actual room acoustic? in fact impulcifer should process to equalize the room to the harman curve even if you mess with the room measurement i think? maybe i'm wrong
