[FiiO BTR7] Portable Bluetooth Amplifier, Color IPS display,High-performance DAC ES9219C*2,THX AAA-28*2 amps,3.5+4.4mm outputs,One-click “dongle” mode
I tested Shanling UA5 vs FiiO BTR7 (USB mode). UA5 sounds cleaner and better. Anyway, just go give a try on them. Maybe it's different result for different iem. But if you need bluetooth, then no brainer it's BTR7- barber

FYI, BTR7 doesn't sounds better than Shanling UA5 via USB mode. I just tested yesterday. Less clarity and refinement overall- barber

I just demoed Softears RS10 and RSV. I like their tuning especially RSV due to its price and nice black design. Looking forward to try Volume. Seems good for my taste (forward vocal). Price is cheaper too. RSV shell is considered max big for my small ear, but still comfortable and snuggly fit...- barber

FiiO Hybrid IEMs Discussion & Impressions Thread
Hello. Has anyone compared FiiO FH9 VS Shanling ME800/ Dunu Zen Pro/ Dunu EST112? These have almost similar graph My preference: forward vocal, big soundstage, good detail and separation, rumble sub bass, punchy mid bass, airy but non fatiguing treble, no harsh cymbal, ..- barber

FiiO Hybrid IEMs Discussion & Impressions Thread
I agree. When I tested FH9 and MK2 last time, both sound identical. MK2 just a bit fuller and bassier. But I can say MK2 is better a bit overall.- barber

FiiO Hybrid IEMs Discussion & Impressions Thread
Because I did auditioned FH9 last 2 weeks. I like it but at final moment I tried song "Masterpiece - Jessie J". At seconds 7-8, there is sub bass rumble/ echoes (i dont know what it called). I totally can't hear it! I was super surprised! Other 4-5 songs dont have issue with bass. Weird...- barber

Precog's IEM Reviews & Impressions
Hello sir. I wonder if your iem ranking list is updated? I mean if you reviewed 1 iem 4-5 years ago with 6.5 score, will it be updated/ revised comparing to newer iem? For example, you really like Sennheiser IE900 but the rank is lower than Sony IER-M9. Am I making sense?- barber

Shanling UA5 - Next step in our portable USB DAC/AMPs
Hello, Currently I need to click 3X to turn on charging in UA5. After charged, I need to click 7-8X to OFF. It is annoying to do this every single day. Could you make it simpler? Just click 2X at certain speed, it will toggle ON/OFF charging. Thanks. I also need another digital filter to reduce...- barber

I agree with whatever @RikudouGoku wrote, except where vocal is a bit recessed. Yesterday I auditioned 6 IEMs (Moondrop Blessing 2, Moondrop Variations, FiiO FH5, FiiO FH7, Sony IER-Z1R and Sony XBA-N3). I am owning FiiO FH3 as my daily driver for 7 months now.
