@Shanling, thanks so much for posting beta drivers for us to use. Works perfectly on Samsung S22 Ultra. The connectivity issue prior to the drive change was a little discouraging. I was regularly checking the shanling site until I stumbled on this post. Sounds fantastic and allows me to use...- Ech0

Linux users unite!
Moved from Arch a couple years ago to Linux Mint. I had ran the same Arch install for years & the install lasted longer than the original hard drive it was running on. That's a large part as to why I like rolling release distros. But, I didn't have the time or maybe desire to continue to...- Ech0

Linux users unite!
Archlinux user for 6 years +/-. Fluxbox / Openbox on Video & Music Servers and Gnome 3 on my laptop. Hated it at first, moved to KDE & then came back to Gnome. I've gotten used to it and like it now. I haven't tried FVWM that I can remember. I think I'll give this a try.- Ech0

Klipsch Image X10 for $94 (usually $350)!!
I'll give this a shot today I think re: heat shrink. I love the X10's so far, but, they do seem a little fragile. My thought was to use red heat shrink on the R and black on the L. It would be functional but I think it might ruin the looks of them. I really like the clarity of & vocals are...- Ech0

I just picked up a pair of M6's from Newegg w/free shipping for $16.00. Figured I'd give them a shot. Hopefully, they'll be okay for when I'm actively doing something, but, the microphonics comment is making me wonder. Oh well, I'll know soon enough...- Ech0

POLL: What Media Storage/Player are you using? (Please vote)
Music stored on hard drive and shared via NFS to other PC's / Laptops.Players I use are Amarok and MythMusic at the moment. If I rip a cd it's to flac w/EAC thru wine or Rubyripper. All my mp3's are from Amazon. I've used MPD in the past, I don't think I've seen anyone mention that in this...- Ech0

Linux music players - especially for classical
Resamapling to 48k is dependent on the card too. Look for a card that is capable of "bit perfect" output via linux. It's fairly easy to get bit perfect output w/ALSA once you have the "right" card.- Ech0
