    Well, that engine isn't the same. The Alfa Romeo engine is 2.9L vs the the Ferrari's 3.9L version. Here, we're talking same part numbers, made by an excellent DAP Maker, Cayin. Also, A&K is no Ferrari of Audio :rolling_eyes:

    Cons: Mids and lower treble could use a little more spark (personal preference) Use courier Brass Tips or remove the Dust/Wax guard. That will spice things up a whole lot. tried it myself. put them back on for a more relaxed listen. I plan to try some other filters to let thru a little more...

    Any decent IEM with treble air up top has that peak (not this high though) including the Moon Drop S8, Meteor, U12T etc. It has to be carefully done. Without it, upper treble sounds rolled off.

    Depends on library. All-rounder would be Ascension due to dynamic driver for that satisfying bass. ESTs also give a slightly wider stage here.

    T3-154 iBasso will not give micro details. You need something with air up top in the 15K region. ThieAudio Hype 4 will give you this clarity, bite, body and a nice balanced sound for not too much money $399.

    Yes, my mods are better sounding per my preferences. Warm yet still more revealing and refined sound. If you have MKIIs, try swapping out just the caps from Silmic II to Nichicon FG (Fine Gold), same size & values (5x11,10V, 47uf) if you want warmer refined sound vs Neautralish iBasso stock sound.

    Modded my AMP8 MKII for DX-240 and I don't need anything else for now. Don't think DX260 can be modded since it has no removable AMP.

    never tried that one. The Micron i400 is the latest version that came out 2022-2023. Beats the older version which was also excellent.

    Used to think it was crazy talk until I used the beloved Micron industrial magnetically shielded cards, especially the newest version. There's an obvious change in sound for the better. You can easily hear the changes with highly resolving IEMs like Monarch, Anole VX, etc. Worth the money 100%...
