I dont think there is a truly portable amp for the Abyss TC. I think the closest you will get is a wired small transportable amp like the smsl sp200 which is enjoyable listening with a Kann Cube on xlr output.

Just got M15 and matched with Alclair Electro iem on 3.5 at 24 ohm impedence it sounds fantastic. Really the best i have heard this iem. Sony Z1R very good at 40 ohm on 4.4 but most of about 10 of my other iems the bass is too strong on 2.5 n 4.4. So matching is crucial

Ashamed to say i could not get the DT + mscaler to work reliabily with dual bnc using Neutrik bnc to ebu adaptors. It only worked once for a short time. So adaptors are lying unused now.

To me i think one of the drivers in the left earpiece is no longer working. The sound coming out is very soft and not full range. I am trying to contact IMR about it.

Same problem with 2.5mm and 3.5mm cables supplied. I am quite sure my set has a problem on the left earpiece.

Thanks for the update. I already ordered 2 units of Neutrix adapters bnc to aes to try using DT with the mscaler. Sad to hear that it won't fully work together. I am aiming for dual bnc and hope that would work for me. Can't wait to find out what sound will come out of it.

Yes you are totally right. I used Kinki Pre Amp for the monos and 4 volts was within its input sensitivity limits. For Kinki integrated amp please match dac output to amp input sensitivity to get great sound.
