Hi guys, is there something new for the plenue d or nothing's changed ? It's been a while i haven't used it and today after switched it on, the cons, mainly the UI, jumped to my face...It is a very nice well made dap, but UI comes from another time, with almost no possibilities to improve the...

I tried without sd card (internal memory is full) it takes 17 seconds. With the sd card, sandisk ultra 64 gb (filled with 45gb), it takes 38 sec. My fw is 1.20. Are you sure you are not in sleep mode ON ?

I usually don't use much EQ but I tried this one cause I read "shure se535". I would never have dared to push the bass with the 535, as the shure have very powerful bass. But it works fine, except I cut off M3B, a bit too muddy for me. Otherwise it is a pretty good EQ. It is a good preset also...

2 seconds in sleep mode? I'm talking about Sleep mode OFF. For me it takes 37 seconds (with a 64gb sd card), 21 seconds without sd card. It is a shame in 2018. My former D2 was doing data update only if I modify my files otherwise, it turned on in 1 second. Sleep mode drains the battery. For...

Just beneath the battery life, you tap the kind of wheel, then the wrench on top right. My feed back on the new fw : nothing foolish...I was hoping the database update would disappear everytime you switch on, I was hoping I could change the size of the font, I was hoping I could rename the user...

I think the file named "music" on the sd card is mandatory to get it work properly. The Sd card must be formated FAT32 here are the formats supported according to Plenue D manual FLAC / WAV / AIFF / ALAC / APE / MP3 / WMA / OGG 2) Codecs audio FLAC, WAV, AIFF, ALAC : ~24bit/192kHz - 32bit WAV...

I have no issue with balance. Have you checked the settings? or tried to reset the player? I use most of time iem shure se535, and occasionnaly Sennheiser momentum on ear. I owned a cowon D2 for years and used to play with jet effects a lot. Since my PD, I use only EQ. A bit more bass, a bit...

Shame the user must wait for data update every time power is on if the dap doesn't recognize fully the updated files  anyway, I did your method, much longer due to slooooow speed transfer to the internal memory and even sd card, but works perfectly now.

Thanks for the tip, it solved the problem, but not entirely. But I should be the one to blame because I change the tag on the plenue while it is plugged in usb. If I rename my files in my pc then move them to the plenue, no problem.

Hey guys, in my dap, the list of genre was a mess, so I decided to tag my files correctly with Mp3Tag. I spend 2 hours, the result is correct in mp3tag when I read the file on my pc, but in the cowon, almost nothing has changed despite the several data update. the genre list is still the same...

Please Cowon don't give up on plenue d, I just get one and I'd like to suggest some UI improvements. Must be simple to do, so please M. Cowon, on the next firmware update, I'd like to : 1/ have a shortcut to sleep mode OR not having a database update every time I start the dap. (If I remember...

In the previous thread, the guy was talking about a problem with <combofix> I'm not very familiar with OS, only the basics. Anyway, I'll try to connect my pd on another computer to drop some flac files, by curiosity. Is it normal the transfer speed on the internal memory is very very slow ...

Ok guys, problem solved. It was weird that the same issue occured on my old D2. Actually the thread from anythingbutipod is correct. I had to change a register key in some deep windows file. For the others with same problem, follow these steps (I quote anythingbutipod) : "The fix is the...

Actually I choose Exfat because fat32 just broke everything. As i wrote : "after format in fat 32, when i turn it on, my pc doesn't recognize the dap. I reset and now my computer can see the dap, but with 19go of files with weird signs, like an alien language." So exfat did fix the problem...
