Review by 'IryxBRO' on item 'HIDIZS SD2'
Small but mighty – this is the only phrase that comes to my mind after using USB type-C dongles of this kind. This time it is Hidizs SD2 – the newest USB dongle that is designed to squeeze more juice to drive headsets to the appropriate levels when compared to the integrated sound amplifiers. It...- IryxBRO

Review by 'IryxBRO' on item 'Hidizs MS1 Galaxy'
MS1 Galaxy are not the first single DD budget-friendly IEMs by Hidizs. There were MS1 Rainbow and Seeds preceding Galaxy and I still honor Seeds as one of the best single DD IEMs with very accurate and delicate sound. Unfortunately, those have been discontinued and had one huge drawback –...- IryxBRO

Review by 'IryxBRO' on item 'HIDIZS S9 PRO PLUS: MARTHA'
Hidizs brand has been quite active and brought intriguing and worthy stuff for the past couple of years. Their latest MP145 planar IEMs made some noise before the launch and early bidders have already started to receive their parcels and supply own very positive impressions. Glad to see that...- IryxBRO

Hidizs has nailed it! One day with the Planar MP145 IEMs and I can declare that is an absolute win... Don't know how they have managed it but the lows are unexpectedly big for planars, layering is perfect, resolution is excellent and many other great achievements here. As far as I know...- IryxBRO

Review by 'IryxBRO' on item 'HIDIZS MS3'
It’s been a while since the last review posted on this blog due to extended logistics. Sending items for the review to Ukraine is quite cumbersome lately, thanks God it arrives undamaged. Hidizs has made quite an effort on assuring that their new MS3 IEMs would finally reach in here, even...- IryxBRO

Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread
Hidizs have just released their dynamic/armature MS3 based on Knowles and pretty good dynamic unit with 3 sets of filters coming in the box. One of the pairs of those filters should do a good job on lower end according to AFR. But the price is around 130.- IryxBRO

Hidizs MS3 - Impressions & Discussions Thread
Yep, thanks for the post. I am also awaiting this model and hope to get it to my hands ASAP. I think that it should become quite popular, concerning MS5 impressions and lower entry cost for the successor. At least, the combination of drivers is one of the most effective ones - no oversaturated...- IryxBRO

Review by 'IryxBRO' on item 'DETHONRAY Pegasus SG1'
One device for one function – I admire Anson’s unique and stable approach of developing masterpieces in every audio hardware niche… Let’s be honest, even a perfect device with limited functionality is risking to be buried down by millions of all-in-one mere consumer choices just because it is...- IryxBRO

Dethonray Pegasus SG1 - BT DAC/Amp Combo
First, there should be LDAC in your phone. As fas as I know, Samsung tries to get the license for LDAC even for its Exynos-based platform flagships so there would be no difference to Qualcomm versions. I can compare to Shanling, HiBy, Hidizs, xDuoo DAPs based on Sabre DAC chips - all more...- IryxBRO

Reply to review by 'IryxBRO' on item 'HiBy W5'
I don't think so. As you see many dacs and daps are now using HiBy OS as a standard. More would come up soon... UAT is a part of this OS... Slowly but spreading out.- IryxBRO

Yep, you definitely have to have transmitter and receiver supporting UAT at both ends to be able to use it. If either of your devices doesn't support it - they will handshake on a codec that they both have in common. Like LDAC or aptX, for instance.- IryxBRO

xDuoo XD-05 Plus DAC & Amp - Desktop usage - Battery will die quickly? :(
This is a good question that was fixed in the newer version of this device which has battery/external power supply switch. Since Plus version doesn't have it - yes, in desktop setup its battery would be dying of constant full charge... Inevitable pity it is.... Or, you can mod it by removing...- IryxBRO
