Well. I already have mac mini m1 > vmv1 d1se > gustard h20 > goldplanar gl1200 / sony z7. My thought if u can replace macmini with this em5. I would love to hear that impression from @Wildcatsare1 as he has same dac. If no or little different, I think I will be em5 > gustard h20 > goldplanar...

Does this mean that there's Apple Music app installed in EM5 already? we play Apple Music Lossless directly from EM5 and is not via AirPlay etc? if this is the case, this is priority for xmas present. :)

Thanks. I got the GL850. That's what I heard that 1200 is better sounding but need speaker amp 😂😑. I like the sound of 850 much better than Ether Flow 1.1. Though I feel the mid is "missing" that omph feeling. I am guessing ty hats where 1200 comes in. Which one do have? 1200? I am searching...

Thanks @Lookout57 i am sure you are aware that latest sony firmware installer works in Catalina. I tried launching and stop short of actually plugging my wm1a. Perhaps that’s something you can use. Thank you again

@MrWalkman Any chance for the mac installer to be updated? it gives same error and manually launching "softwareUpdateTool" does not do the trick this time. FWIW, Sony new 3.0.2 update tool for Mac has been updated and can be launched from Catalina. (I am on Catalina IMac 27 late 2015 model)...
