I don't think it could beat SP2k which is triple its price. It certainly outperforms my sp1k+amp.

This is a brilliant machine. Very powerful and has no difficulty in driving my T1 and HD800 with ease. It also serves Solaris and Fourte pretty well. The background is super dark and the soundstage is very wide. Very impressive listening experience and very much worth the price.

So true. I tried lately Andromeda +plus sound gps exo with my old 240ss. The chemistry is superb. Musicality is unrivalled.

I tried JBL control 1 x which paired up quite good but the volume knob had to turn to the second last dot. Opus 2has wider sound stage. P2 has jeteffect and dac filters which are fun to play with. P2 with more advanced dac, seems to have more details. In terms of power,dx200 is the best among the 3 daps. Personally I like dx200 more except for the minor bugs.

That may be true coz they use the same BB dac. P2 uses AKM chip same as the AK new flagship.

P2 uses the same Ak4497eq. Any comparison?

P2 is an improved version to p1. S is another class and more pricey
