Yes, but new Kann Cube is only little more expensive. Fiio was a company of affordable DAPs. For 1300$ there are more competitors with more features. Sony WM1A f.e.

Asahi Kasei chips? That doesn't play well. This 'velvet sound' is so dull for me. But otherways, nice design, except copy of Sony's Hold button.

For example Bravado is a step back from my CA Polaris II, but ESR is way above. Now I have problem what to choose - because Django is also very good IEM. Also Custom Art Fibae 6 (ME edition) seduces me with it's powerful bass. Life is hard... :)

Last week I've heard several EE IEMs on Audio Video Show in Warsaw. In my ears ESR model was the best - ideal composition of bass, mid and high tones. Ex aequo with Noble Audio Django on next table. Congratulations Empire Ears - good work.

No, I'm not buying. I remember how bad was an X5-III model. It's better to look elsewhere.

As I see still the same user interface, still next/previous and volume buttons grouped together with small space. Maybe in this model Cowon will update firmware faster than in R1 model (which I have had).

I only hope, that DX160 will play much better than 150 model. Which IMO was total disaster. Never had DAP with so bad sound. D..n Asahi Kasei chips.

Maybe. For me all AKM chips are flat and boring in sound. Especially iBasso DX150 disapointed me. I'm simply Cirrus Logic and Sabre sound fan.

I like them. They put sound just into my ears (and face), they forgiving bad engineering in studio, they simply play. Just changed the stock Litz cable to Forza Audio Works IEM Copper Series Mk2.

I have a different opinion. Polaris Mk2 is the funniest earphone ever owned. Long gone IMR R1 Zenith, A&K Billie Jean, not to mention low quality chi-fi boom boxes.

My observations as a new user of SR15: - internal memory is slow, in comparision to Cowon Plenue R and Pixel 2XL smartphone, memory speed looks like a turtle near to hare - by using physical buttons (next) first second of song is cut; changing songs on-screen is ok - there is no charging battery...

As for me V40 has this awful notch. And for that reason V40 is for me unusable. Looks like a cheap iFruit clone, following st..pid Apple design trend.
