@zach915m To confirm, the Eikon + Auteur Non-perf Pad = most "linear" of your closed options? Is this essentially easing off the bass a touch, or affecting elsewhere? Anyone try this yet?

FWIW, I'd be glad to offer a suggestion that I've personally used for approximately 6-8 years, self-managed or hosted.

The Atticus has the potential for a good amount of slam, and handles macro-dynamics exceedingly well. That said, it comes down to what amp is driving it. My SS hits harder than my tube amp, so amp characteristics come into play. No experience with the LCD-2, so YMMV.

My Atticus needs adjusting before each listen. Once on my head, it's good. No issues.

Ditto @mysticstryk's comments - save on the AGD, no personal experience. I've had the Modi MB, Bifrost MB and currently running the Gungnir MB. Can't go wrong. My suggestion, buy the Modi MB and move on to a better amp, or save for until you can pull-off a Gungnir MB. I'd love to get my...

I'd love to see a smaller speaker amp (somewhere in the 20-30 watt range) with a complimentary tonality to the Vidar. I've got dreams of a bi-amping a set of moderately sized monitors with a Saga and the upcoming Sol.
