Hi all, been lurkin around for long time. Just got my Bellos X4 a couple of hours ago. The fit is rather interesting compared to the full ear canal kind of fit, need more time with it though! Will post some sound impressions when I get the time!- Lucif6r6th

More love to the mid-fi stuff? You got it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Had the chance to hear a fully broken-in/burned-in EVR and Vantage a few days back. Changes are huge :astonished: EVR definitely punches well above its price point. Low end got a bit warmer and fuller. It has a certain...- Lucif6r6th

Guys, i tried out my UE attenuator + 8wire Janus + Phantom. The attenuator makes the phantom darker but janus balances it out while adding in speed. Amazing. Completely zero hiss, absolutely black background. So black that I can hear the track's hiss (16bit/44.1khz). Eric got poisoned too :p- Lucif6r6th

Ultimate Ears UE PRO 18+ Discussions and Impressions
UE uses the extruded 2 pin connector. Standard 2 pin works but is not recommended. Pokes out quite a bit and with reversed polarity. Effect Audio EOS is discontinued :( and I ordered my PW Audio Single Crystal Silver cable from Music Sanctuary. Not sure where you can get them from in the USA...- Lucif6r6th

Well... i do have the UERR custom version. The final audio tips make the universal UERR sound more like the custom version albeit slightly brighter and leaner on the bass/mids. Insertion depth affects UERR sound a whole lot, it is where all the body comes from. UERR does not really lack bass...- Lucif6r6th

I don't think it will be a good match. The Ares II already isn't a very warm or natural sounding cable. The 1960s may add unnecessary warmth and thickness to the sound which goes against the philosophy of the phantom. However, ymmv~- Lucif6r6th

Well... as bonus those who want to know if the hiss is there. I'm glad say that the hiss is non-existent for the X-Series. I do hear a little hiss (barely noticeable at all) from the EP-Series but i believe that is just because of my DX200's balanced power output.- Lucif6r6th

I do like the vantage very much too. More natural, smoother and easier listening on the ears. It still has DAT BASS But don't look down on bravado either, the little brother of the X line-up still has DAT BASS- Lucif6r6th
