    Monoprice HR-5C

Just curious, since I was thinking about picking one of these up, which pads increase the bass and soundstage? I don't want to make a mistake on my purchase.

Open Back, ~$150 USD Headphone for Gaming, EDM music

I had a look at frequency graphs on the HD58X and it seemed pretty close to the HD660 S (Or whatever it was). Obviously that's not the whole story, but you get the idea. I think what I'll do for now is get the HD58X, and hopefully soon I'll be able to put the money into a decent AMP/DAC setup...

Open Back, ~$150 USD Headphone for Gaming, EDM music

I did check and he did, in fact, mean the TR X-00. (And of course suggested an amp) I know they're excellent headphones but I don't have 550 to just drop on headphones and an amp after all. I was blending two names together by mistake.

Open Back, ~$150 USD Headphone for Gaming, EDM music

I looked into the HD58X and I'm interested in those now for sure. (I did tell my friend who's into audio and he said they were awful and suggested things like the TH X-00. Which is 450 dollars. Or the HD 660 S. Which is 420 dollars.) I see in your little attached thing that you have them, how do...

Open Back, ~$150 USD Headphone for Gaming, EDM music

Interesting suggestion! I'll have to look into it. I just realized I can just use a 90 degree header which opens up the Dekoni Blues. Or I could get rid of my BoomPro and buy a ModMic instead and get something like a MonoPrice M650. Though perhaps that's getting needlessly complex.

Open Back, ~$150 USD Headphone for Gaming, EDM music

Hello all! I'm upgrading from my Superlux 668B and Audio Technica MSR7 duo to something different. I have another set of headphones I use for monitoring duty (Because I'm part of a podcast and I help with it). So I wanted to have another set for gaming, music, and general use. I use a Vmoda...

    ~200 USD Closed Headphones

That one looks quite nice as well! I'll do a little more digging on it. I would have never found this. Thank you so much! I got to try some Sony wireless headphones, no idea the model, but they were better than I expected to be totally honest. I'll certainly consider that. I get the feeling...

    ~200 USD Closed Headphones

Hello all! I've been in the market for some closed back, over ear headphones for a while. Closed back because college and open back headphones just don't seem like a great idea to me. My friend has let me try out his AKG K553 MKII for a few days as well. (I'm quite enjoying them so far)...

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest

Hello! (I posted here months and months ago if I recall, but that's not important) My Tennmak Pros died this morning, so I guess I'm in the market for new IEMs! I'll be using these in a really noisy environment (70-80 db on my commuter bus, measured on my V30 this morning) I tend to enjoy a V...

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest

Hello all! Sorry if this is the wrong thread by several miles (or kilometers) but I wanted to ask a question for a friend. He's in the market for something that'll replace his Shure SE215's, because their cable breaks often. He doesn't really care too much about the sound curve. What he wants...

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (On or Over Ear Headphones)

I think it's most available here as the LyxPro HAS-30. I had looked at it, it is certainly a good option.

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (On or Over Ear Headphones)

Woops. Forgot about that there! That's what happens when you write a post at 1 AM. I was looking to spend no more than 60 USD or so.

Chinese / Asian Brand Info Thread (On or Over Ear Headphones)

Hello all! I hate to add another one of these questions to the thread, but I honestly have nowhere better to look. I just returned a set of Koss ProDJ 200's because they were pretty meh. Sounded like a closed back AKG M220. That's not bad in any way, it's just far from what I wanted. Also the...

    Headphones Under 50 USD

I found a few reviews on the M30X, I can see why you like it. The AKG seems like a closed M220, which I own. The M30X is definitely on my list.

    Headphones Under 50 USD

Oh look, another one of these threads! Hello all! I know a posted a few days ago, but that thread had recommendations for IEMs and nothing but. Nothing wrong with that, but I was also interested in headphones. As the title says, I want to spend 50 or less (I can go as high as 60) The primary...

That's hilarious! Do you have any opinion on the TFZ Series 3?

Sub-50 USD IEMs or Headphones with good sound isolation

The Beyerdynamics certainly have my attention. Advantage of the Pro over the Piano, for me at least, is that I can get the Pro on Amazon.

Sub-50 USD IEMs or Headphones with good sound isolation

Hello there! I have a 3D printer not 5 feet away from where I usually work, and it can get to be pretty loud. My current headphones, a set of AKG M220s from Massdrop, while comfy, aren't that good at keeping the printer quiet. I would like to know if there were any options under or around 50...

Choosing between IEMs/Earbuds under 50 USD

Sorry to bother you with a follow up question, but what do you think or any of these compared to, say, the Zero Audio Tenores and Bassos? Thanks!

Choosing between IEMs/Earbuds under 50 USD

The Vyrus is certainly a very interesting set of IEMs. I'll keep those on my mind when I have the money to spend.

Choosing between IEMs/Earbuds under 50 USD

Good to know I should avoid the RHA's. Both the KZ ATE and ATR look awesome. I might get them from Amazon or Banggood when I get the chance. (Only problem is shipping time, but I'll live)

Well hopefully, when the question does get answered, you'll find something you'll like. Which ones have you looked at so far?
