Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova

I wouldn't hold my breath on an order confirmation. I ordered the OG andromedas 2 years ago and the Special Edition Golds 2 weeks ago and didn't get a confirmation either time. I did get a shipping confirmation both times though. If you really want to confirm your order i'd contact them through...

Audio-Technica ATH-DSR9BT/ATH-DSR7BT Bluetooth Headphones (With Digital Drive Technology That Replaces a Traditional DAC)

Does anyone know how the DSR9BT compares to the SR9? Would any of these be the successor to the MSR7?

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

Los Angeles checking in here. So far I've been defying the odds and remain with no issues of any kind. Had these since the first Saturday they were released.

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

I don't think so. Only 500 were produced on this initial run and already we are hearing about all these defects. I'm pretty sure the headband is going to give out on a large percentage of headphones in the near future so of the first 500 made I predict an unacceptably large amount will end up...

I agree. You can also feel acoustic guitar strings being plucked or strummed. So awesome. I only wish that vocals weren't so pushed back. Most of the time it's no problem but once in awhile I really feel like the vocals are distant.

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

I like the HD6xx. I just like other headphones more. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I like but I know I tend to prefer a bright sound so I really like the MSR7's, HD700 and B&O H6.

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

Yes, I was just stating an observation. He described the sound as plasticky and I don't really know how that sounds but was curious as to what he thought of other headphones and his list really heavily focuses on what he dislikes. The most positive comments seem to fall under a category of...

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

Looking at your 90+ impression list it's clear you and I have different tastes because I noticed all the headphones I really like you dislike and the least favorite of all my cans, the HD6xx you like a lot. Then I went down the list some more it seems like you really dislike most of what you've...

ooh, regarding the M1060's and bass compared to the HD600, that can't be right. The bass on the M1060 is so much more than the HD600's. This must be because you're listening through the Valhalla 2 amp? I've never used a tube amp but have seen it said that tube amps and planars are not a good combo.

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

Well on the bright side if you don't use the warranty you could buy the M1060's brand new 4 times before it matches the price and repair of an LCD-2

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

Yea the little rubbery plastic parts on the headband are the one thing about this headphone that feels like a super cheap cut corner. Just adjusting it feels like it's shaving the nub that would go into the holes of the metal headband. I do expect they will revise this with a sturdier solution...

I agree...we are entitled to a 5 year warranty on a product advertised to have one when purchased, for those who bought the first 500.

Why not buy a pair of closed headphones if you need closed? Buying open backed headphones with the intention to mod them into closed back is not a good idea.

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H6 Discussion Thread

The seller may not have ever got a cloth bag with it. I know Gen 2's no longer come with a bag.

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H6 Discussion Thread

If they are gen1 then you definitely need a 3rd party cable because the stock one sucks. If gen 2 I don't know what to say. They should sound great

They are first gen. Only Black, Natural and white I believe is are the 3 colors that come in 2nd gen. You can look on the bottom of the box above the bar code to check. If it's 2nd Gen it will state it. 2nd gen have better low end bass. They are better than 1st gen in my opinion.

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H6 Discussion Thread

Just wanted to agree with everything you said. I think the Momentums sound like crap. I haven't listened to the P7's but I've owned the P5 S2's and sold them in favor of the H6's because of the boomy/muddy bass.
