I also hoped that for the hunter there is one filter with a more  flatter curve / "natural/neutral" tonality , and with the different filter you could get more bass, highs, bass&highs, mids,.... . So you can tune it to a personal preference.   @Brooko:   How would you compare the sound...

For a decision between the M6 and the Hunter it would be very nice to get some information regarding the differences of the sound quality, sound signature, sound stage/imaging, resolution, sibilance,.....

Is there already a price for the Mater 6, and a description how it compares to the hunter, e.g. the sound signature ?

I was also very interested in the Pure and Bass models.   Now  the decision is much more easy ;)   Its nice that you inform us about this, and that this decision is made before releasing the product, and half a year later releasing a upgraded version.

Can this amp also be used staionary (for example by bypassing the battery) ? Or is the battery always used for the power supply, and you can only charge the battery?

Hello Redo, did you also tried the front panel's digital coax out? Maybe the MicroDac works better with electrical input than with optical.

How much does the discrete amp upgrade cost? I can`t find any information about it on http://www.diykits.com.hk/zhaolu.html
