For me, like you point out, EDM is all I listen to and I can say after 2-3 days of using them that these are just great.  I so far don't have a single complaint except I had to find different tips.

    Some quick pics of the unboxing, the first look and then the first fit in the ears.  Will have to give them a couple days before I write any kind of review but first impressions were impressive.  Been listening to Whitebear (favorite= Permatations), Spundose (favorite= Cymatic Revelation)...

I hate to say it, while that was a good write-up I am disappointed with what you found.  I ordered a pair a couple weeks ago (still patiently waiting) and was hoping for a strong bass presence but the clarity specially on mids.  It doesn't sound like these are there.   My fingers are crossed...

What he said.  Verbatim!  I don't own the Yamaha's but have heard them and can vouch.  One of my coworkers has them!  Very nice.  I personally perfer a much heavier bass JVC!

This same thing basically happened to me two days ago and the bass for what ever reason kicked in.  I am totally jelly of you and your mojo!  I really want one and am only using my Fiio e12A.

After my first write up and listening insistently for almost 2 weeks I think I have changed my opinion about the Nova's.  I had two initial major complaints with the Nova's - Fit and Bass.     The fit doesn't bother me as much as it used to now that I have gotten used to them.  The edges don't...

I tried putting my Spinfits from my Atlas' on there (which don't work very well at all on my Atlas') and it could be just me but the bass seemed to come to life a little bit.  I may be getting a little optimistic but I think I have found a way to pull a little more bass out of them.

  I agree here!  The RHA T20 is a REALLY nice set, I will be buying one again and the Atlas (not making them anymore) are really nice.  I have been chatting with Bob at Trinity and the Sabres are currently shipping and the Master 4's will be soon (I am picking up a Master 4).
