Also tried the Aeon 2 Closed for a couple of weeks and they didn't do it for me... I just earlier today auditioned the Stellia's locally and also didn't find them to be that spectacular. To me they sounded to be a little more transparent than the Z1R's but not worth the price difference for me..

My vote is for Sony Z1R. Just purchased them and enjoying the warmth and great isolation. What a world of difference in terms of comfort vs my Audeze

Just recognized a imbalance between the left and right channel of my 4Z. Left is definitely louder than the right, I tried different cables with the same result. I’ve contacted Audeze and I’m sure they are going to have me send them in for service. Anyone ever have the same experience and...

Thanks all for the feedback, I got them today and I’m amazed at how easy they are to drive. On to the next question, any experience using AK SP1000 or 2000, I don't have either but considering one to finish off my setup.

Would you guys consider there to be a significant sonic difference between Kann Cube, SP1000>SP2000. using LCD4Z primarily

I ended up getting the Marantz HD-DAC1. While it’s a little dated it seems like it has plenty of power and the DAC is decent especially for the $400 I paid on eBay.

I agree and iPhone/iPad + Spotify is also far from optimal.
