iFi audio iDSD Diablo - A portable reference done our way!

Way overpriced, IMO and unusually so, for Ifi.

More of thought than an opinion having not heard them but by removing the damping pad, aren't you practically just turning the T1.3 back into the T1.2?

Chord Electronics ☆ Poly ☆ (wireless & microSD module for Mojo) ☆★►USEFUL INFO on 1st PAGE!!◄★☆

What?..........................''I think it is an 'in joke' on this thread, that Poly has her quirks, and sometimes refuses to cooperate, for no apparent reason.'' What you meant to say, surely is, it doesn't work properly! I really get annoyed when I see poor equipment excused like this...

Amazon launches Music HD with lossless streaming

Bit off topic but I wondered if there is a considered view whether listening with BT headphones/BT reciever is any better or worse if you are streaming the track initially from 16/44 vs 320kbps? Hope my Q makes sense!

Amazon launches Music HD with lossless streaming

Hi, I am a qobuz user who plays 'exclusive mode to my outboard dac but I am looking at this Amazon offer and I understand it doesn't offer a 'bit perfect' option as yet but I do have a question which I really should know the answer to but i don't, so any answers would be appreciated..... My MSI...

Astell&Kern Launches Four New Products at High End 2019 Munich

AK really should be offering a BT receiver in these new DAP's. For this kind of money it should be standard by now. Sony can do it with their flagship DAP, so why not AK? A BT receiver function is hugely useful sometimes.

Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless still relevant?

I loved the SQ and found it nice and lively with some sparkle up top and good bass. I would have liked it to be my go to for commuting (I don't like ANC) but it was the most uncomfortable 'on ear' that I have ever tried. They literally made my ears numb. Probably it is the flat pads. I don't...

Chord Electronics ☆ Poly ☆ (wireless & microSD module for Mojo) ☆★►USEFUL INFO on 1st PAGE!!◄★☆

I get 21gb with mine as it is an old contract I keep rolling because it is cheaper than bringing it 'up to date'. I stream music outside for a good two hours before 8am most mornings so you can see how much I use on a daily basis. I did a check on my listening habits and I read that 1and a half...

Hi Matt, Yes, Although I do have an unlimited data allowance I do have a fixed 'hot spot' allowance and it wouldn't get me through 2 weeks never mind a month. That is why a receiver with AptX is important to me. As I said, it is a pity as I love my mojo and would have liked to bet away from my...

It is a pity there is no aptX or LDAC on the poly. I have a Mojo and it's great and would have bought a Poly if it had decent BT codecs. From what I gather from here, the only way to stream Qobuz from my android phone to the Poly is with an app like bubbleupnp…...but that means using up my small...

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

I stopped buying CD's and downloading albums when I started using Qobuz. I stream in 16/44 through my PC and use a separate DAC/Headphone amp........will M Scaler be as beneficial for me if I upgrade to a Hugo 2 or TT2?

Reply to review by 'kdbur' on item 'Audeze LCD2 Classic'

An excellent read. I have a pre fazor LCD2 and am thinking of upgrading the headband, particularly after reading your comment that it improves the weight balance on the head. Thank you for the effort you have put into your review........I guess you enjoy doing it but thanks all the same.

Audeze Mobius Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV

B&O have user replaceable batteries in all it's BT/ANC headphones. THAT, in my opinion is the right way.........the right way...... for consumers who do not want to be hit with charges/postal charges/ import charges and the loss of their headphones for weeks while some 'guy' pops the headphone...

Audeze Mobius Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV

I know these batteries last a good few years but why can B&O have user replacable batteries in their BT and ANC headphones, yet Audeze (and others) can't? I also live in Europe and would find the cost impossible to justify.......so these aren't for me. I also want to ask Audeze what they...

    iFi audio Classic Revival

Oooooh, I would like something with tubes in it. I have a ifi dac 2 and an ifi micro can SE and they are great for what I want but would like a tube 'add on' to see if I like the sound.

Audeze Mobius Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV

B&O allow users to change the battery themselves in their BT/ANC headphones.........why don't you? This kind of ''dump them' or pay half the cost again for Audeze to replace battery + postage is obscene! PS...I am talking about all BT headphone makers, not just you.

    Beyerdynamic Amiron Wireless

I do hope, if these are indeed priced between £500-£700, we will see button controls rather than touch controls. Maybe I am getting old but I prefer buttons rather than the sometimes 'flaky' touch controls, on BT headphones.

    Cascade Headphone by Campfire Audio

The headband design reminds me of the NAD HP50, the design of which led me to sell mine. I just don't get the 'cyberman' look of the headband. Even NAD seem to have altered their design for the upcoming HP70, with the headband more closely following the shape of the head. I don't mind wearing...

    Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears

Not to mention the Beyer Amiron Wireless. This is the BT headphone that I am most looking forward to trying. Good times are coming, hopefully, for BT headphones, especially for those of us who do not want too much warmth or bass enhancement. Haven't tried the PX as it has too many 'bells and...

Centrance have their 'Bludac' and offers ''20 hours wireless playback''. I haven't heard it but it uses AK4490 dac chip. If I get something to use when out and about, I will probably go for this, especially for BT playback. http://www.centrance.com/products/bluedac/...

    Is B&W P5 worth it?

I really liked the P5 wireless. It's sound just did it for me. The pressure on my ears from the pads though was unbearable and so I let them go. I bought a P7 wireless but the bass infected the mids too much for my liking and so I let them go as well. Not surprised B&W have discontinued the...
