Does the Kann allow Tidal offline downloads yet?

Hi guys, I'm off to New York next month and normally travel with my Sony z5, chord mojo & westone 4s... with all the incresed security there seems like there is a lot of restrictions now on what items you can take onboard to your seat now (i.e. Laptops now need to be placed in the hold etc..)...

That's to preorder... Not due into the uk for a few more weeks

So shouldn't the original ethers be more now too? I don't have an issue with the price rise by its self. I know people need to be paid etc... And like I said earlier,I've heard these and know they are great. It's the price difference between the original ether and the flows I can't work out...

But our local European distributor would still be making money on the original ethers too? That part hasn't changed...

It's not all taxes or exchange rate. The % price has jumped more in Europe than US from the model change. Original US ether $1500+tax. New flow $1800+tax so a 20% increase U.K. Ether £1250 inc tax. New flow is £1750 inc tax so a 40% price jump.................:rolleyes:

Like you I heard them at the London Canjam and were the best of the show for me so we're definitely on my "need" list but once the uk price was announced. It killed the idea for me.. ~£1500 would have been nice :D Hey you gotta dream right ;)

Problem is £1700 is still a huge increase of price compared to the US price or that of the original ethers.. I'd love to know how many European preorders they have taken at this price. :popcorn: Let's hope once released they rethink the price as I'd still love a pair :L3000:

£1750!!! :mad: Left the show really thinking these could be my next headphone, but no way if £1750 is the correct uk price! :eek: A big selling point for mrspeaker headphones for me was the value for money for the quality given. Yes they are fantastic headphones but £500 more than the 'older'...

I just wanted to give out a big thanks to everyone who organised this event. Being quite new into headphones (but not audio) it gave me a great chance of trying lots of different equipment with no sales people bugging you hoping to get a sale that second. Very refreshing! You just knew...

Placed my order soon as it was available yesterday but..... Has any more been said about the warranty yet ?? Tbh with the price difference, long wait till production and the fact I don't need the power cable, I would be tempted by a 2nd hand 1st gen model if I found a good one for sale...

Also as your now including a powercable, will you be sending out the correct plug for each country it's being sent too? A US cord is no use in England ;) Keith
