I´ve driven a pair of ProAc Response 1.5(87dB for 1 watt at 1 metre)never sounded distorted just not loud enough.

My fault....I ment that the amps sound great and that 40 watts dont play loud!!!

I*ve had a Prehead MKII se and a rpx-100...must say that I liked them better with the Rudi. But my current amp does the job better than both of them. The Harmony Design Pre906 gets the job done
