I did mix with DT 1770 for only 5 minutes of footage without complex tracks. Seemed okay. I can only know how good after redoing the same mix from scratch on studio monitors. Will keep you posted.

"Mississippi Burning": 7/10. Another terrific film from Alan Parker of " All the President's Men."

I watched the original cut ten years ago and director's cut recently. Former is better. Great film and ironical ending. One of my top 50. The recent "Black Sea" starring Jude Law is not epic but a decent enough film of the same submarine genre.

What Maise Knew 6/10: Onata Aprile steals the show. Right up there with Tatum O'Neal in "Paper Moon" and Abigail Breslin in "Little Miss Sunshine." The girl manages to evoke every emotion demanded by every scene so effortlessly. Magical.

I find Anurag Kashyp a little too overrated. Wasseypur-1 is his best, though. Having an encyclopaedic knowledge about cinema is one thing and being great at making films is another. People tend to mistake talking films to making films.
