I think the advantage of S over 1 is the 3.5mm balanced PO. I have not tested it but I learned from a friend who recently bought one that the battery life is as horrible as 1.

Wait... I think Plenue M and 1's optical out is just the phone out? So when you connecting it to Mojo you are using the DAC of Mojo instead of PM, which means the sound signature would be different, rather than simply amped.

P1 does not have a LO, so if you are connecting it with mojo you would rely on mojo's DAC, which is OK but not as good as P1's own.
