Another vote for the 1More, delivers great sound and build quality for the money. Haven't heard the momentum so can't offer any comparisons.- Wailing Fungus

Focal Elear - Impressions Thread
I have no complaints at all, but then I haven't heard a lot of kit so can't really make any comparisons. The ifi micro stack drives the Elears with authority. I can only imagine that the ifi pro will be a step up from this. I've also got my eye on the ifi Pro range as a potential upgrade in...- Wailing Fungus

Focal Elear - Impressions Thread
To be honest, no, but then my main reasons for changing the cable were better for ergonomics and aesthetics. I haven't done any critical listening / comparisons between the two cables and frankly i'm far to busy enjoying the Elear's to bother.- Wailing Fungus

Focal Elear - Impressions Thread
@Mbeeching: They are terminated with Rean plugs: Can't offer too much help with the Copper v Silver debate (or what about a Copper/Silver hybrid cable? sorry! ), as this was primarily for better useability, any sonic improvements/differences were a secondary consideration. ...- Wailing Fungus

Great case - i've got a X99 setup in an Ncase V5 myself. Focal Elear - Impressions Thread
I've had my Focal Elear's for around 3 weeks now, upgrading from a pair of Sennheiser HD700's. They are quite a jump in terms of sound and build quality from the HD700s and I'd like to think that I won't be looking to upgrade these for some time, if at all. I first heard the Elear's at...- Wailing Fungus

Forza AudioWorks Impressions Thread
Just got my Noir MK2 back from Matt - had it re-terminated to fit a pair of Focal Elears (previously a pair of Sennheiser HD700s). Only took 2 weeks from sending it back to receiving it today. Much better than the stock behemoth cable supplied by Focal.- Wailing Fungus

New Inear Prophile-8
At the current exchange rates, these will be in the region of £1050-£1150 which is quite a chunk of change and puts it up against a number of well regarded competitors from the likes of Noble (on a side note was rather impressed with the Katanas), Rhapsodio, Empire Ears etc. Personally I won't...- Wailing Fungus

New Inear Prophile-8
I got a chance to listen to the Prophile8 at the Indulgence Show in London today. While only a 10 minute listen, I was quite impressed. Build-wise, they are almost the same shape as the Stagediver shells, but slightly deeper and in a Matt finish. And the pair of switches on the inner face. I...- Wailing Fungus
