I totally agree with you. For me, most "audiofile" headphones aren't that beautiful but sacrafices have to be made somewhere and, for me its sound quality>looks.

It all okay! I simply cut of the rubber insulation and joined the wires by simply twisting them around each other and insulating them with electric tape. I even managed to get the controls to work (the mic should work too but I have yet to test it).

Studios are the normal ones not Bluetooth.
