Just a quick question for Bifrost 2 owners, when first switching the unit on the front source and inverter lights flash for around 10 seconds then go out then start flashing again & then finally the unit clicks? Thanks.

Can I possibly ask two stupid questions? Using the Lyr 3 with the internal multibit dac at a volume setting of 9 o'clock why is it when I switch from the internal multibit dac and use my Bifrost as the dac the Lyr 3 volume is way louder at 9 o'clock ? In the manual it states 40-45 seconds...

Have you bought the correct cable ? and not the later style 2.5mm jack plug type ? such as this...

They are a pain, my HE-6 pads rotate freely but then the rings that are screwed to them don't have the 4 x cut outs like the HE 560's do.

Anybody know why these seem to come from the factory with the pads fitted the wrong way around? Going by the instructions the thinner part of the pad should be at the front and the thicker part to the rear.

  I purchased mine with the upgraded Jensen caps and it also came with the above tubes that Icon Audio advised. So far I am impressed and I'm more than happy with these tubes.

Right here we go:   First off the copper plate is width 140mm, length is 154mm   Length of the unit including the front & rear alloy plates is 273mm   The width of the front face plate & rear plate is 160mm   Hope this helps.

Had my HP8 MK2 for a few weeks now and loving it so far :)   Looking at some pictures of the copper top version in this thread mine seems a lot wider and no longer has the over bright blue led light but a purple one which is no where near as bright as the old style blue led.

Thanks, but surely it would show up in windows audio properties? 24/176.4 and not 16/176.4 I wouldn't have thought that installing ASIO would make this show up in audio properties.
