Done already. Does not fix the problem. Maybe it has to do with the fact that my laptop only has 2 usb ports, and one I use through a hub.

I definitely liked the MS2i that I heard (and I've owned the SR225 but sold them) In fact, they were Absorbine_Sr's, and out of his Zana Deux, this was a fantastic combo. Definitely more of a grado soundstage, but more refined in details and prat. Basically echoing others' posts.

I'm using Cardas cabled HD600. You listen at 12 to 1 on low gain? Ouch! Depends on what level the recording was made. Usually, 12 is pushing it for me. Extended listening at that level gives me ringing ears.
