Review by 'nofuture' on item 'InEar StageDiver SD-2S'

Before starting the review I'd like to explain a few thing about myself so you can contextualize my advice/review.   I'm a 24 years old student in IT, my passion in life is Sound Design, I also like the mixing / mastering phase of electronic record. I don't play any instrument since I can't...

    InEar StageDiver SD-2S

From InEar's website : "The StageDiver is the ultimate universal monitor from InEar. The design engineers from InEar created a monitor that fits in almost every ear and looks identical to a custom made system."

New Custom-to-Universal IEMs: InEar StageDiver 2/3

Well, received my Ts-400 (small) from the USA today...   First impressions are....   Way too big for me, they are the same size than the Large silicon tips from the SD-2S....So I don't really see how this can be advertised as small... Pressure is uncomfortable instantly for me, it doesn't...

New Custom-to-Universal IEMs: InEar StageDiver 2/3

I've already, the little one doesn't seems to be very well built. For now I'm very happy with this one, seems very solid, way enough for daily use. I'll keep the pelican for when I go in more dangerous zone ( water / possible fall..etc) but that shouldn't happen very often knowing me.

New Custom-to-Universal IEMs: InEar StageDiver 2/3

I've found this camera hard shell case. It's on the big side but it have a convenient belt "clip" / "tether" / "brace" ( I don't know the right word in English ...). It seems enough resistant for normal daily abuse, but I wouldn't ride with this. Well was a good deal for ~17.5 USD in Switzerland...

New Custom-to-Universal IEMs: InEar StageDiver 2/3

So, I've ordered some Ts-400 (small) from comply last week, hopefully they'll ship soon, so I won't be able to get them before the beginning of June I think.   In the meantime I'm searching for a more size friendly case that would fit in my pocket and protect the SD-2S from damage because...

New Custom-to-Universal IEMs: InEar StageDiver 2/3

Thanks for you inputs, I've send a message directly from their Website.   Here is a picture of the two painful zone:       In black, it's the zone that really hurt for me, in grey it comes after 30 minutes approximately. After ~45 minutes I have to take them off because it's really...

I would also be interested to know how you would do to securely remove the ear guide from the cable because it looks like a dangerous bet to do it with a cutter.

Hey,   To SD-X(s) owners:   I'm thinking about buying a few foam tips, have you any recommendation that are compatible with the SD series ? (I'm looking at the comply/westone right now but I can't find any info about if they are compatible of not with the SD series)   Thanks.

New Custom-to-Universal IEMs: InEar StageDiver 2/3

Hey,   So I finally received my SD-2s. While they are still a little too big for my ears I think they fit way better than the SD-2 for me. I still can't close my mouth completely (I've some temporo mandibular problem, always mouth closed like if I had took mdma, soI ave a big tendancy to...

No problem, the only thing that matter to me is that it came from a good intention even if it didn't work for me.

New Custom-to-Universal IEMs: InEar StageDiver 2/3

Well, I had a good surprise today when going home. It seems that there's some deal between Germany & Switzerland when you order with DHL and there wasn't any administration fees, only ~27 € VAT to pay. So I took my chance and payed it to test the SD-2 and unfortunately like some of you & InEar...

Hello,   I spoke with Thomann and the Post andd I have the opportunity to refuse the package at delivery in order not to pay the VAT + Administration fees and order the SD-2S instead of the SD-2 without paying anything more.   What would you advise me to do ? Knowing that if I accept the...

New Custom-to-Universal IEMs: InEar StageDiver 2/3

Yep,   I just hope the Sd-2 would fit because I read the Swiss obligation code section about professional -> person contract / sell completely and the customs article 18.86 about importation of goods and the procedure would cost me more than I actually would be reimbursed for the...

    Review: InEar StageDiver Series

I would also be interested to know which size correspond to which size of ears. Mine seems standard but I won't be able to try these before I order so I would be sure that the fit will be good. Anyone had problem with SD-N and had to order SD-Ns instead ?   Thanks.

    Shure SRH1540 Review

Thanks for you answer.   The T70P is close to the perfect frequency response to my taste unfortunately it's a bit the antithesis of portable headphone, it's big, non fold-able, doesn't have replaceable cable... Well I'm not sure about this one as portable headphone.    I've already tried the...
