Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
Just wanted to thank Karthick Manivannan. My iSine 20 had a trouble with the cable, and he contacted me immediately, and the customer service was amzing. So Kudos to Audeze, for the quick turn around. Honestly, one of the best experiences I've had with Customer Service. So thanks again! Finally...- waifu

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
EDIT: So my iSine 20 cypher cable got fried, because the firmware update failed. But the Dir of Reserach for Audeze saw my message, and was kind enough to PM me. I'm really sad because this was my birthday present, and I had to wait 30 days for them to get it in stock. But I'm also happy that...- waifu

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
So trying out the larger tips, and barely putting them in at the edge of my canal, made the fatigue go away. I had the smaller ones on and put them deeper into my canal. Most of my previous iems required the tips to go a little deeper to get a proper seal, or else the music would be vastly...- waifu

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
Wow thanks for the advice. I feel stupid, but what are the ear loops? I'm using the big clear hooks. Is the loops the smaller black ones? Now you have me wanting to try more before giving up. I truly love the sound on these.- waifu

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
I am not the best person to ask as I'm a casual audiophile. Meaning, I love high quality audio. But I don't understand things on a technical level. I go off of how things sound and my own personal taste. So take what I say with a grain of salt. But the Sony's are by far the best IEMs ive ever...- waifu

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
Shoot. So I guess the Audeze app only works when the cipher cable. Just tried and it doesn't work with my standard. So EQ for me isn't really viable, as I wanted to use these with my iPhone only. Guess the sound sig just isn't for me. So weird that it would give me fatigue :( I wish I...- waifu

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
Hmmm. Now I'm wondering if it's an allergic reaction to the tips or fatigue. I've def had fatigue before in the past with over the head cans. And it feels similar. I have no idea why this sound sig would bother me so much. Hmm. I'll give it a a couple days then. And then maybe I'll try again...- waifu

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
So I got my isine10's yesterday. Upon my first listen, I was surprised by the sound. It wasn't really the dark/warm sound I had been used to, from the LCD-2/3. Expecting the same sound from IEMs, is obviously silly. I didn't expect that. But I was surprised by the sound. I was really loving it...- waifu

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
Thanks for the quick replies guys. I ended up getting the isine10 with the 3.5mm. They come tomorrow! I still have my order for the 20 on a waiting list. I figure I'll try both. And I'll give my family member the other one regardless. I'm glad to hear that these aren't that harsh. Its...- waifu

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
Been trying to get an isine 20 for a while now, but seems they are sold out and Audeze is having stock issues? I have an order through a site that has been in limbo for 3 weeks now. Anyways, I was wondering what the difference is between the cipher cable vs 3.5mm. If it's that drastic? I was...- waifu

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
Been a while since I've posted on this forum. But a while back I stumbled on this thread and learned about the Sony MDR EX800STE. I'm really glad I found them, because they are still the best headphones I've ever owned. I can't believe how good the bass is with the vents taped. I even find...- waifu

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
So I've been listening non stop to my ex800st, and I can't get over how good these are. I'm a big fan of electronic music, and the richness and depth of the bass is so awesome. The crazy thing is, I actually think I might prefer these to my LCD-3s. I know that is insane. Obviously a full...- waifu

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
Have to thank you guys for recommending the Sony ex800ST. The tape mod was really easy, and the bass is indeed amazing. Even without a DAC/AMP (just from my phone). I can't even imagine how crazy it could get with my Chord Mojo. I currently use my DAC/AMPs for my bigger headphones like my LCD-3...- waifu

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
Thanks for the quick reply. Very interesting. I forgot to mention that, I had to do some EQ on my HD-800, because I was getting ear fatigue because of a peak on the higher frequencies. And certain sound sigs with harsh treble, can also give me fatigue. Has the Sony 800 ever been known...- waifu

Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
Hi guys! So I'm looking at upgrading my IEMs. I had the Shure SE-535, and didn't really like the sound sig. But appreciated their clarity and speed. Truth be told, I tend to love bass and a warm sound sig. I am currently using an LCD-3 as my main can. But I also have an HD-800 for clarity. So...- waifu

Audeze LCD-3 Impressions Thread
Not sure if this the right place to post. Doesn't seem like this thread is as active as the other Audeze threads. But I recently upgraded to the lcd-3. And I decided to buy the Carbon fiber headband to swap out my lcd-3 headband. I was surprised at how small it is. Just got it in the mail...- waifu

Audeze LCD-2 Impressions Thread
Hi guys. I recently bought myself a pair of Audeze LCD-2 Aluminum edition. It's been a while since I've tried Audeze. I actually owned an LCD-2 3-4 years ago. At the time, I was in love with the sound. I tend to prefer a warm/dark sound signature. The bass was sublime etc. But I also still...- waifu

So I bought EarZonk G Cushion pads for my PS500E. And one of the things I really liked about the GS1000E, is that it "wrapped around my ears" and had a more enveloping sound as a result of it. I realized the stock G Cushion pads were different then the EarZonk ones. So I swapped my GS1000E...- waifu

I ended up settling on the PS500E. It was really tough. But I went through my iTunes library and just listened to all my music, and decided I liked how the PS500e's sound matched my taste in music. Also, I think the stock Grado G Cushion Pads helped elevate the PS500E (to make up for some of...- waifu

First world problems. But I really can't decide between the PS500E and the GS1000E. I'm still torn. =/ Maybe I should just stick with the PS500E. I already loved them, and was really happy. I only tried the GS to make sure it's what I wanted to settle with for Grado. I dunno. I think I...- waifu

Oh wow, she sounds so cool. HD-650 was my main rig for a long time. It's really cool you have a partner that you can share your hobby with. Oh I'm sorry for taking it the wrong way. I thought I screwed up, and was being poked for bringing up something irrelevant. Didn't mean to do that. Also, that's a shame there isn't more women into this hobby. None of my friends care about this either. They think I'm insane for spending...- waifu

I'm trying it now actually. At a glance, I definitely think the Stock G Cushion brings a bit more power to it (makes the presence a bit more powerful). I'll have to A/B them. Using CHVRCHES "Warning Call Now" (since that has some bass, and I like the song lol). EDIT: Damn, this is a...- waifu
