Not sure if it will help, but M17 connected to Fiio Q5s, playing DSD on the SD card has no issues with audio cut-off at the beginning of the song. Only the very very slight click iwhen changing tracks.

I don't think Fiio means bluetooth is preferred over the rest . It is what was stated, input priority when multiple possible inputs are present. eg. if you have a connection say via usb and you push the bluetooth enable button, it will switch to bluetooth and start the bluetooth pairing action...

On bluetooth, mine will do the same ie, disconnect the bluetooth connection, then blink once and then back to default input that is not bluetooth.
