Are Android based DAP's compatible with Android Play in an Automobile
I am trying to find out if Android based DAPs will work with Android Play in my new car. In the past I used an Onkyo DP-S1 via analog aux in. My new vehicle does not have an analog input. It supports Apple Play and Android Play. Apple Play works fine and I can stream Qobuz from my iPhone. I...- tmauceri

I've had good luck with this cable https://www.surfcables.com/products/iem-cables?variant=19474653507 with my Westone ES60's. I have found with the mmcx connectors that I need to use small gold washers or spaces to get get a solid connection to the CIEM's. I have also used FIIO and...- tmauceri

I've gone through a few different Balanced cables for my Westone ES60s. Two pairs of iBasso's both pairs had shorts at the mmcx connectors. A pair of Moon Audio Silver Dragons again issues with the mmcx connectors, had to add mini gold washers to mmcx connectors. The washers work for about a...- tmauceri

I just ordered a second DP-S1 for my car and want to copy from my old one to the new. I use the drag and drop method to move music from my server to the DP-S1. My thought is to plug the old DP-S1 in via USB and copy to each new SD card one card at a time while they are plugged into the SD card...- tmauceri

I wouldn't say it was a problem, but there is a difference. Listening with Westone ES60's in the balanced mode with the Hi-Bit 32 off i would say there is more detail with the bass. With it on the bass is enhanced in volume and not as defined. I couldn't tell you which one is better thats up to...- tmauceri

No it is vinyl. I have it and it works fine. It's very fitted and does not add significant bulk. The piece that covers the volume wheel provides stability to the wheel. I give it 5 stars.- tmauceri

I am using Moon Audio Blue Dragons with my Oppo PM-3's and Moon Audio Silver Dragons with my Westone ES60's. I prefer the balanced mode over the ACG on my DP-S1, I think it presents a larger sound stage.- tmauceri

I only use the balanced output so I can't comment on volume differences between balanced and unbalanced. But I don't hear a difference between balanced and AGC. I can say I like Balanced better than AGC though.- tmauceri

I have had my DP-S1 since May and I must say I have been very happy with it. I am using Westone ES60's with a Moon Audio Silver Dragon Balanced cable. My library is all FLAC.
