Asgard 2 for HD600's and Monitor Speakers
Ah, I had totally misunderstood the purpose of the Asgard then. I had just read that it was able to provide power to monitor speakers and assumed it would also work as the sole amplifier for them. Since that's not the case, I'll probably go with the Magni as the Asgard 2 is not necessary for my...- Fluency

Asgard 2 for HD600's and Monitor Speakers
I'm looking to get a DAC/Amp stack for the HD600 (as well as the ATH-M50's on occasion). I was originally looking at the Magni/Modi pairing, but I was thinking of upgrading the amp to the Asgard 2 because I would also like to add monitor speakers to my setup later on. From what I've read, the...- Fluency

Upgrading from ATH-M50 to Sennheiser HD600
The treble is one of the main reasons I'm considering upgrading. I know there's no such thing as a completely neutral headphone, but I'm just looking for one that's more "honest" than some others. Based on what you've said, I think the HD600's would be a pretty good fit.- Fluency

How many hours straight can you wear a "comfortable" set of headphones?
I own the M50's and those usually last me a good 4-5 hours. After that, I start to get minor headaches; so they could definitely be a little bit more comfortable.- Fluency

Upgrading from ATH-M50 to Sennheiser HD600
Quote: The M50 might have more bass, but I'm not looking for that. I do a lot of music production and a neutral headphone is critical for getting a proper mix. I'll definitely look around and try to test the HD600's and the couple Beyerdynamic cans. Something tells me most stores around...- Fluency

Upgrading from ATH-M50 to Sennheiser HD600
Hi guys, Right now I own a pair of M50's without an amp/DAC. I'm into music production, and I think they work pretty well. However, I'm thinking way ahead towards holiday season when I'll be able to upgrade my equipment. Right now I'm looking at the Sennheiser HD600 with the Magni/Modi combo...- Fluency

Upgrading setup with DAC/Amp
Hi everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my current audio setup with a DAC and amp. I currently own an ATH-M50 that just runs straight to my computer (well technically the signal runs through Bose Companion 2 speakers and then to the M50s). I mainly use them for music production and mixing. I've...- Fluency
