    I already tried the custom molded tips for A83. Didn't work for me. Maybe because of the shallow insertion. Didn't seal well enough. Spiral dots and AKG tips do provide better seal than stock tips

    Once while I was doing the felt mod I saw and thought that the thin diapraghm being sandwiched by 2 magnets. I was afraid if I disassembled them I couldn't get the right tension while I assembled them back. And are the sonic difference worth the trouble doing the hardwiring sir?

    If you are looking for more air I don't think Audeze will suit you. I personally suggest HE6 YMMV
