Recommendations for Shure SE846
Hello, I am not very experienced in sound quality but i was able to get a pair of Shure SE846 for a great price. I have used these earphones through my iPhone 5s and although it seemed alright straight from the headphone out i had the impression that the sound quality could improve. Anyway, i...- soundofpraise

V-moda verza vs Fostex HP-P1
Really thank for all your help DrSheep. You're one cool dude! So the verza would be the best option for my taste for bass? I have read on a thread that the sounddroid typhoon has one DAC in it. Does that have a significance over the 2 chips in the verza?- soundofpraise

FiiO E17 "ALPEN" - First Impression + Final Thought
Hahaha thanks for the info that clears up a lot of impressions I had. so really if I wanted the best sound quality using the E17, I would need an iDevice that uses the 30pin not the lightning for the L9 LOD or 30pin to USB cable?- soundofpraise

FiiO E17 "ALPEN" - First Impression + Final Thought
I hear a hiss through my shure se535. Even if gain is 0. Plugging the shures straight into the headphone jack on my iPod nano 7G eliminates the hiss. im not sure what's causing the hiss from the e17. Maybe double amping? Or the DAC chip? I dont know how this works but Im using the LOD so im...- soundofpraise

Recomendations for setup
So I need to find a way to connect my iPod nano 7G to the mini USB port on the under-side of the E17 correct? I am thinkin about getting the Vmoda verza just because it says compatible with iPhone 5 but that's an unreasonable upgrade. I have the impression from reading posts saying the lightning...- soundofpraise

Wow 3 headphones to choose from. V moda m100, beyerdynamics DT770pro, or Audio Technica ATH-A900X. I guess i would be considered a bass-head but which of the three has a good punchy bass for sub bass heavy songs but still have that amazing detail to separate that bass for more mid to high songs...- soundofpraise

I can't seem to find that DT 700. I found a DT 770 pro. Is that like an upgrade from the DT 700? Amazon is selling the DT 770 pro 32 ohm but is that worth it? Those v-Modas are also catching my attention. V-moda m100 or beyerdynamics DT 700?- soundofpraise
