CustomArt FIBAE Impressions Thread
Ah okay, it's really a minefield. I have a pair of Shure SE425's which are falling apart and I've also come to feel that they're a little too dry sounding, but at the same time I'm not looking for something with too much of a v shaped sound.- cobhc2013

CustomArt FIBAE Impressions Thread
Hey guys, really interested in the Fibae Black but I'm wondering if I should wait for the 4. I listen mainly to Death/Thrash metal and I generally like a more balanced/closer to flat sound signature.- cobhc2013

My response was more to ask why you weren't able to buy one from a shop. I thought they were freely available?- cobhc2013

Neutral IEM's up to around £300/$400
I keep looking at the ER4XR but I would definitely need to go with some custom tips, I don't think I can go back to shoving big foam or silicon tips into my ears that either end up hurting or getting stuck in there. Any recommendations for custom tips/sleeves in the UK for the Ety's?- cobhc2013

They're definitely on my hitlist. The custom sleeves I have are ACS ones which I don't think will fit any other IEM, unless I'm mistaken?- cobhc2013

Neutral IEM's up to around £300/$400
Hey guys, I'm looking for a fairly neutral pair of IEM's to replace my Shure SE425's which are falling apart. I do have custom sleeves for my current IEM's which I have become used to and so would like to either go CIEM or look at a pair where I could get something like the Snugs tips to go...- cobhc2013

Has anybody bought any cables with the 3.5mm right angle Switchcraft plug? I'd like to know what the dimensions of the plug are as I have a case on my phone that might make the fit a little difficult.- cobhc2013

Portable Amp/DAC
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm slightly put off the E12 or the Cayin because of being an amp only. Even though I stated Amp/DAC in the subject I realise I didn't in my actual post. It'd be run off a OnePlus One or a 2013 Nexus 7 on the go which both get decent reviews when plugged into an...- cobhc2013

Portable Amp/DAC
Hi all, Recently bought a pair of HD600's to go alongside my SE425's and I'd like to find an amp that I can use on the go for the SE425's and at home for the HD600's. I also like the idea of the Fiio stuff with the portable being able to dock into the desktop. I have a Fiio E7; should I get a...- cobhc2013

Re400 for Metal? Good? I like what I've heard of them being pretty flat, if they're accurate enough to mix on them too, that'd be awesome. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta- cobhc2013

Looking for a good pair of in ears for Rock/Metal up to £100, isolation isn't a huge worry, just good quality. Want something well built as had a couple pairs of Soundmagic now and they don't last long. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta- cobhc2013
