I am trying to play a 24/96khz file through foobar2k. I am using ASIO output and am able to play 16 bit files successfully.   When attempting to play I just seem to get a low crackling noise. The files themselves are fine as I am able to play them through my onboard soundcard. Any help...

Can anyone advise me as to which amp would be best suited with Q701?   My options are  the Little Dot I+ 1+, MK II or the MK III.   Any help would be much appreciated.

No i will be using these indoors only. I can't help thinking that the akg's being £150 more than the sennheisers means that they should be better. Can you confirm you have heard both and still prefer the hd 598's? Thanks for the response

Yes, iPod gens do still matter. There are only a few DACs that are capable of passing the iPod's internal DAC such as the Fostex HP-P1. Unless you are using one of those, the iPod generation will make a difference. Hope this helps.
