I need IEMs where the highs go on forever and have superb 3D soundstage
To put it bluntly; I don't know what the hell I am doing. I have this "thing" in my mind where I want balanced bass, razor crisp highs, and very clean seperation (3D). I'm tired of all this over rated bass. More bass, MORE bass, MORE BASS... I don't buy it, and simply do not like it. I...- BaconWhispers

I need IEMs where the highs go on forever and have superb 3D soundstage
DBA-02 MKII R-50 seems to be an ok price although I hate to admit that I was shooting for $100-120. However quality does cost.... I guess these two knock the socks off of HF5?- BaconWhispers

I need IEMs where the highs go on forever and have superb 3D soundstage
Based on http://www.head-fi.org/t/639244/multi-iem-comparison-vsonic-gr07-ultimate-ears-ue700-tdk-ba200-etymotic-research-hf5-and-audeo-pfe-112 The GR07 don't hold up very well Looks like I really want the pfe112 or xba-3 However it looks like one can not simply buy the pfe112...- BaconWhispers

I need IEMs where the highs go on forever and have superb 3D soundstage
After living a life of dollar store headphones/iems I finally got some Vsonic GR0s BE and love them, but I really want that sweet treble upper mids-highs... I see the Etymotic HF5 but those are old (if that means anything). Whats good in the more recent times of today?- BaconWhispers

What are the biggest flaws of your favorite iems?
GR02; Not gold plated like the old ones (like I care though). JVC Mashmellows; Image gathering that brown foul dumpster juice you see on the ground behind a local fish store. Now imagine scooping with your hands and gently poring it down into your ears, as is slides down into your ear...- BaconWhispers

Quote: I went with this http://www.head-fi.org/t/478568/multi-iem-review-273-iems-compared-vsonic-vc02-added-02-24-13-p-641 which rates these 10/10 and many other countless reviews before I bought them, and boy are they awesome! My Fiio E6 has a crooked lock sticker O_o and says Fujiyama on the back
Thanks for all the help. The reason I wanted to be sure is because there was no seal sticker on the top, and the top of it was already open when I got (I thought they might have put a fake inside a good box). I think they should put unique serials on the device itself, but that is my opinion...- BaconWhispers

My Fiio E6 has a crooked lock sticker O_o and says Fujiyama on the back
While I wait for a camera (few more hours) can anyone even load fiio.com.cn ? I ask because the box has a bar code, but with scratch query sticker that tells me to check with their website (that wont load). It just hangs, and never loads. (I can feel China hacking my computer! "jk" O_o )- BaconWhispers

My Fiio E6 has a crooked lock sticker O_o and says Fujiyama on the back
Quote: Oops, my bad I will get those pics! (of the outside and all six sides at macro) I tried opening it with razor / mini screwdriver and it cracked at both 3.5 jacks :( My ears are not very fancy and I cant tell by listening, but for now it sounds good with vsonic GR02s. ...- BaconWhispers

My Fiio E6 has a crooked lock sticker O_o and says Fujiyama on the back
Got it today, and it looks good EXCEPT THAT THE LOCK STICKER IS CROOKED! noooooooooooooooooooooo! It might be fake, and my ears are too dumb to know if it sounds good or not... I just wanted something fast because my audio jack broke so I decided to use LOD and amp combo... The box has...- BaconWhispers

I need some options on IEM's for my crappy phone...
I walk my dog all of the time. When I want to be cautious I just leave one hanging out. Or just make the volume neutral. When I'm jammmin I watch my dog for cues; he will make obvious moves when a car is behind me or if something is approaching. I have been using crappy audio gear for a...- BaconWhispers

$40 IEM Battle Royale (RHA MA-350 Added 3-1-13)
I appreciate all the help I have been getting, and I hope it helps someone else. I went with the E6 and L9 with that free super shipping stuff :) *So far my GR02 BEs have got ~24 hrs of burn-in, and I got home from work and shoved them in my ears and I was smiling the whole time! I never...- BaconWhispers

$40 IEM Battle Royale (RHA MA-350 Added 3-1-13)
Quote: Here is my dilemma: 1.) The E6 + L1 combo is $30. However it is said that the L1 is a crappy cable, and the E6 sounds better but supposedly has a cheap/fragile feel to it. 2.) The E5 is solid and cheaper, but needs a good L9 cable which together is $30. Again this sounds...- BaconWhispers

$40 IEM Battle Royale (RHA MA-350 Added 3-1-13)
I have another question: My iPod touch(4g) 3.5 audio out jack s pretty much dead now. So couldn't I just get a cheap $3 LOD and a female-to-female 3.5 to listen to my iPod? OR do I have to use a amp if I go the LOD route (*e5 cough* but my funds are really running low for this stuff...)...- BaconWhispers

Are Tube Amps better than Solid State Amps?
This reminds me of carburetors and fuel injection... One you can tweak easily with your tools the other requires re-flashing an ECU. We should allocate 20 Million dollars of our budget to research and create playing back near original sound!- BaconWhispers

$40 IEM Battle Royale (RHA MA-350 Added 3-1-13)
Anyone here want to throw the infamous Monoprice 8320 into this mix of opinions. (specifically compared to GR02 BE, and E10/E30) I was going to buy some, but I kept feeling some kind of dark force hovering around the purchase button that kept my fingers at bay... So I spent ~$30 more...- BaconWhispers

$40 IEM Battle Royale (RHA MA-350 Added 3-1-13)
Hey there from my other thread.... I also purchased some GR02 BEs from Lendmeurears, and Imagine that they will sound like magical waterfalls poring sweet sounds into my ears. Compared to my usual dollar store IEMs. CAN YOU HELP ME (Zerocoolhifi)? You said it took lendmeurears 5 days...- BaconWhispers

I think some day Ill just get those ones molded to your ears with like 6 drivers in each ear and an extra tube for high frequencies. Than il have some Ear-gasums. Than...- BaconWhispers
