The AKG K712 Pro Support and Impressions Thread
I also wish the K612Pro was made in Austria....just to make me feel warm and fuzzy. All my AKG, including K601 are made in Austria. Id like to keep it that way. Re Apple, I have just purchased a new iMac and superdrive (apple) The superdrive is needed as there is now no built in disc...- Husq2100

AKG K702 65th Anniversary Edition
maybe having the K612pro made in china and the K712pro in Austria has something to do with the larger price difference. Seems like they may be trying to get a larger market into their pro headphones by offering a low price. IMO its not a really good thing if they are also cutting corners. On top...- Husq2100

The AKG K712 Pro Support and Impressions Thread
any of you AKG gurus know what model was immediately to the right of the K712pro in that foreign film? I know they talked about the tiesto, but these were not..... I wonder if the "entry level" K612pro will be made in China? Its a shame that all AKG dont come with a removable cable...- Husq2100

I have been able to do some more listening to the Pico Power, and I also finally got my Soshine Lithium batteries. These batteries are a little longer than the stock Duracels and are a tight fit. As others here are using them I figure they are not to long and wont do any damage. I also ordered...- Husq2100

HeadAmp Pico Power: Pre-Order Thread
Excellent info guys, I appreciate the time given. And yes some more questions. Is voltage the important factor? Will the lower voltage lithium be noticable sound wise compared to the higher Ni-MH? The advantages I like about Lithium are you dont have to fully drain them before charging. You dont...- Husq2100

Quote: Thanks for your reply cooperpwc, Here is one of Justins comments regarding lithium: "that would depend how they're charged but most will do 8.4V. 8.2V a little less common. the nominal voltage is 7.4V and they'll spend most of their life around this range, before quickly...- Husq2100

Quote: A few 10ths....this is where im confused. As I read that lithium are 3.6v cells +/- they can only have a nominal 7.2v, but as Ni-MH are 1.2v cells, I figured they could be a 8.4 or 9.6 nominal voltage which I would have thought better? does anyone know what the actual nominal...- Husq2100
