Sansa - Clip+ VS. Clip Zip
Yes, I have heard others complain about sport clip's firmware. So far I am ok with it. I mainly set it on shuttle and just enjoy the music. Haven't experienced any freezes or other hick-ups yet. The battery life on the sport clip is about twice that of clip zip. I like that.- radiolight

Sansa - Clip+ VS. Clip Zip
I don't think clip zip is reliable. My unit's microsd slot stopped working. Overall the construction feels flimsy to me. Don't have a clip+ to compare, but I do have sport clip which I feel is more sturdy.- radiolight

VSonic GR07 Bass Edition Impressions
I just ordered from LMUE Sunday and received an update email today saying status is processing. Not sure if they will send another update for when they ship. But, at least my paypal payment did not goto an unresponsive black hole.- radiolight

Sansa Clip Zip or Clip+ ?
That is a good question. Don't remember if I formated before use so I'll will need check. But the zip reads the songs on it. I've not tried holding down the on/off button for 30 seconds to reset. Usually hold for 10 seconds and then give up and eject sdhc card. Thanks for the help.- radiolight

Sansa Clip Zip or Clip+ ?
I have zip which has been rockboxed since the day I bought it so I am not familiar with original firmware. Has anyone else experienced random lockups where the music stops and on/off button does not respond? But once I pop out the 32GB micro sdhc card (class 10), the zip would unfreeze. Is...- radiolight

Woo Audio Amp Owner Unite
Speaking of Psvane, anyone have any experience with Psvane 274B? There are not any reviews for it either. I believe someone here has one and was going post his impression as compared with Princess 274B and EML 274B. But, I have not seen it yet. I have Shuggie 274B (stock), EML 274B, and...- radiolight

Dubstep girl, Looks like the HE-500 is plugged into the high impedance port. Is that intentional? Does it sound better?- radiolight

HiFiman HE-500 (HE as in High End) Proving to be an enjoyable experience in listening.
Thanks for your reply and experience with the stock cable. I am still trying to talk myself into getting the HE-500. I have Woo Audio WA6SE which as I understand will drive an HE-500 properly. Will I expect a sonic upgrade with the HE-500 vs what I currently have (DT880 and SR325is)?- radiolight

HiFiman HE-500 (HE as in High End) Proving to be an enjoyable experience in listening.
I have been following this thread and have been considering getting the HE-500. If the general consensus regarding the stock cable is that the construction quality is poor (sonically it is debatable). Why doesn't Hifiman respond and change the cable? Perhaps Hifiman should have the option of...- radiolight

Quote: I have Sylvania 6EW7 and 6FD7, and Philco 6DE7. 6FD7 had the bass that I was looking for. Can you please compare 6DR7 with 6FD7? Also, does anyone have Hifiman HE-500 running with WA6SE and can provide his/her experience? I've started researching the HE-500 for...- radiolight

Thanks Dubstep Girl, JC, and Silent One for your recommendation. At this time, I am staying away from tubes needing adapters. I have read about 6fd7. It is high gain, more bass impact, and may cause the amp to hum Currently, other than a few seconds at start up, my WA6 SE is...- radiolight

Woo Audio Amp Owner Unite
Hello all, After following this thread, I took the plunge and ordered and received a WA6 SE which came with Shuguang 274B and Sylvania 6ew7s tubes. I am far from an audiophile so my setup is pretty basic and is as follows: iPod nano --> Pure i-20 (it has a built in DAC) --> WA6 SE -->...- radiolight
