Are the V-Modas overrated by people who don't have enough experience with headphones?

I agree, she just wanted something more portable. Studios are more comparable to the M-100s I think.

Are the V-Modas overrated by people who don't have enough experience with headphones?

My girlfriend's Beat Solo 2's are a class above my M-80's. I was utterly shocked when I compared the two. Not sure how the M-100's compare to the $300 Beats.

    Sony h.ear on MDR-100AAP - $199 'Hi-Res Audio' Over-Ear Headphones

Is there some kind of way you can get compensation for their mistakes, or is it a "nature of the business" sort of deal?

    Sony h.ear on MDR-100AAP - $199 'Hi-Res Audio' Over-Ear Headphones

Easy decision, thanks a lot. I'd figured I should go for the H.ear since it would be my primary headphone for a while.

    Sony h.ear on MDR-100AAP - $199 'Hi-Res Audio' Over-Ear Headphones

So right now I have a opportunity to get the MDR10R for $64 before tax and the H.ear's for $134 before tax. Which one do you guys think is a better deal? Edit: The best Headphones I have right now are the V-Moda M-80s.

    Fidue A33, A65, and A73 - Review and Comparison

Thanks for the response, seems like the A65 will be my pick. But, to answer your question, based on what I've read about the A73s, they seem extremely impressive. The shape of it seems better suited for jogging and the sound-sig sounds like they're up my alley. The only reason I'm not going for...

    Fidue A33, A65, and A73 - Review and Comparison

I'm deciding between the E80 and the A65, though it seems the E80 might fit my preferences more. I mostly listen to pop, alternative, R&B, Rap, and Jazz so I need the more versatile one. I would appreciate if you can further explain what you think would work best based on my musical tastes...

Zero Audio ZH-DWX10 DUOZA dual dynamic driver iem

Decision made. Although, I usually listen in the bus and or when I'm jogging, I'm fairly confident the sound would be good enough for me to enjoy. I'll just do some tip-rolling to get the most out of it.

REVIEW of Zero Audio DUOZA dual dynamic driver IEM

Yeah, that seems to be the case. Seems like my ideal IEM for now, just want to see if it still bears the same QC issues so I'm going to sit it out until I get more insight on that.

REVIEW of Zero Audio DUOZA dual dynamic driver IEM

Perfect, I can kind of get a picture of the sound based on your comparison with the ATH-IM50s. Those lacked sparkle and stage but, I enjoy the mids and bass. Would you say these are head and shoulders above the IM50s overall in sound(a class above)?

How are the mids with these in reference to the AT house sound, are they less prominent?

Review: Philips Fidelio L1 [Updated 5/14]

How do these compare to the m-80s? I am looking for a headphone with a good soundstage that's fun and not too analytical.

    Audio-Technica IM50, IM70 Discussion Thread

I just got the V-moda m80s and I got to say, the IM50s keep up for the most part. The only notable difference is the m80s has a bigger stage, more subdued mids, more balanced, and more natural sounding overall with good separation. The IM50s sound more closed with the mids being more prominent...

    V-MODA Crossfade M-80 Reviews

You're right, I suppose I'll just make due with what I have. I love these headphones, the stage is way more enveloping compared to my ATH-IM-50s and everything is more balanced without sound sterile unlike my AX-35s.

    V-MODA Crossfade M-80 Reviews

Just got mines in and they sound surprisingly balanced. But, mines didn't come with the 3-button cord for some reason. Other than that, these are phenomenal.
