i normally dont like very futuristic designs, but i kinda like this.  

Can someone share EQ settings with us? I am using iTunes with Audirvana, have Audio Hijack to put in any VST Plugin. What can you recommend to get the most out of the mdr 1r?

I've got the little dot I+. Very happy with it. The X1 is low impedance so the ld i+ is the perfect match. Thr mk3 is for higher impedance headphones inthink.
