MP3 players... Help me choose...
go buy yourself a MP3/CD player. In terms of media, CD-Rs are the cheapest by far. And with MP3 format, 700mb of MP3 to carry around is WAY more then enough. If you can live with the Jukebox size, you will have no problems with the lighter MP3/CD. Most of them also have long battery life then...- Tachyon

Coolest. Portable. Ever.
Its been out for some time already (at least 7 months). tons of it everywhere on display in Japan, but no one is buying it. The quality is not that great. Even with a 3" screen, you can see alot of flaws. just my 0.02- Tachyon

Just wondering if there is such a thing on the market. An mp3 player that will accept CF cards (either of both Type1 or Type2). There are players with smartmedia, SD and memorysticks compatibility, but I havent seen any for CF. Anyone?- Tachyon

Best MD to get?
After my long search for CD/mp3 portables, I think I might as well look into MDs as well. I am totally new to this, so please teach me. It seems that people arent worry (or dont talk about it as much) about sound quality issues of MD as compare to CDs. Why is that? From my brief experience...- Tachyon

CT-800 Question
anyone know if the external battery pack for the new CT-800 is attached to the CD player itself (aka like MD players where its screwed on securely)? or is it like the slimX design and replaces the remote? ear-clips or ear buds?
