Just got my E17 today and honestly... my onboard sound thumps harder than this, I don't get it.

Well, I've ruled out the Zo2, I've read several places they don't work to good with the 900's.   I've read the STX out performs the E17, but the E17 has lower impedance.. How important is the low impedance on the headphone jack?

Thank you all for all the helpful replies.   I'm absolutely going with the 900's, I've done a great deal of reading and I've decided on these.   Any suggestions on if I should E17, Zo2 or an Essence STX?

Hey guys. I've ordered my 900's and now I'm debating how I should drive them. Zo2? E17? or Essence STX? Price is not an issue, only thing that matters is that bass!

E17 / E11 don't have enough power? I thought they were overkill for the 900's

Think I'm going to go with the 900.   Would a Essence STX be ok for this or would a E11/E17 be better?   Also would the 900's use the 7.1 from the essence?   I looked at cmoy bb but it looks like you have to build it yourself? I'm not looking to do all that right now.
