My new daily rig, simple & portable, but still sounding great   

Now that summer is coming closer, I decided to bring out my old Triple fi 10, for occasions when I don't feel like caring a whole rig. Also its not as hot as with an around-the-ear-style headphone.

So i was finally able to get an iPod Video 5.5 to replace my iPod touch 4g. So far I'm really impressed by its performance, especially the dac. Battery life isn't the best but its still ok.   iPod Video 5.5 --> JDS Labs C421 --> Sennheiser Momentum

Sometimes you can find the Ultimate Ears triple fi 10 for under 150$ on amazon. Imo they are a great pair of iems, but there is one problem: they dont fit very well and you definitely wont fall asleep while wearing these :D  So in general I think they are great, you could reshell them into...

Well that isnt too difficult :D 1. Hifiman He 500 2. Sennheiser Momentum 3. Triple fi 10   and some iems that arent worth to be mentioned.

I find the Momentums to be bassy, not extremely, but they are definitely not neutral. They also lack a little bit in treble, at least in my opinion ;)
