Are you using the ESS plus via bluetooth while connected to your wifi when you experience the connection drop outs? That's one possible cause I can think of right now. Both BT and old wifi routers uses 2.4gh bandwidth which causes issues.

Thanks for confirming. I might have the stock cable reterminated by a local cable maker. Initially thought of buying an aftermarket cable but I haven't seen any that looks as flushed as the stock mmcx to the earpieces. I kind of dislike the 90 degree angled mmcx connector as well.

Not sure if this has been confirmed before but can the stock 3.5mm plug be reterminated to 4.4mm instead?

Hi @FiiO, For some reason, my sd card seems to get stuck in its slot. This should be a push pull mechanism right? Nothing mentioned on the manual so that's what I assumed. It's now 2 milimeters deep in the sd slot. How do I eject this?

Forgot to update that I was able to successfully install version 1.0.3 already. I just have to wait patiently with the fiio screen and after a few minutes, I played a game in my computer to pass the time, then when I checked the dap, it just proceeded and all was good.

It's been stucked in fiio screen for 30 mins so I am not sure if that is going to proceed that's why I tried the force/hard restart. For a number of times, it went back to fiio screen stuck in there and won't proceed. I just keep pressing the power and play/pause button until it went past the...
