I just compared newly got awei es300i($9), they have mic too, with 8320, es800m and fx101. Jvc is easily worst, even if treble would be normal it would be last anyway. Decide which is best was hard. With small margin winner in my opinion is es800m because of smoother sound and more bass impact...

I have mj900- nothing special apart from massive bass. awei es800m or es300i is noticably better.

I have s2 and mh1c works perfectly.

I have had cks77, ckm500, ie8/80 and soundstage is close, so upgrade from ie7 to cks1000 should be good.

Probably audio technica cks99.

Awei es800m is normal and has sq equal to 8320.

Dont forgot to add shipping and ear impression costs. About 50 bucks.

For those who cant walk with mh1. I suggest use foam tips, then they stay in ear when you move. I for example use foam tips from soundmagic pl21.

Actually heir 3ai is probably best fun iem. Yes 4ai is neutral and lacks bass, but 3ai is bassy enough.

My choise would be used heir 3ai or audio technica cks99/1000.

Mine CKS99 is shipped few days ago. Cant wait them. Hope that treble is less sibilant than in ckm500 and more bass.

From two above R1 is best. But you should consider vsonic vc02 and sony mh1 c too.

Audio technica ckn50 or ckm500 is better than m50.

Then monoprice 8320.

That xcited is piece of crap. Terrible sharp highs and dreadful build quality. Xcape impressive edition was much better. But best bang for buck is definetly sony mh1c. They sound better than any iem you written.

I have been using rockbox for months now, and itc is 100% stable.

They can compete and even outclass xba-4. if you prefer ckm500 soundsig.

Audio technica cks99 should be better on rock, than any iem listed. Rock it r50 is realy great too, but hasnt enough bass. Dont forgot sony mh1c. They are dirt cheap but sound amazing.

Sandisk sansa clip zip is realy good choise too.

I had rocoo ba, studio v and rockboxed ipod classic. Overall ipod is best. Apart from sound hisound are terrible.

Try other tips. When you got best seal, you after some hours will feel comfortable.

I once tried studio.... Terrible build quality and $7 monoprice 8320, awei es800m was much better. They were originals at Apple store, so no fakes.
