I was just wondering if anyone has compared the sound of a modded Ipod (approx $500 with player and mods), to the sound of the Olive Musica/Symphony. On the surface it looks like you pick up more storage space at the cost of loss of portability.

You might want to consider getting higher quality downloads. The files from Music Giant are approximately 15 meg for each song, but the improvement in sound quality is large.

I have never owned an EMP, but always loved the way it looked. One other amp you might consider buying on the used market is the Melos SHA-1. Very nice synergy with the RS-1's.
