Meet the Sennheiser IE 80 S

Yes had the ie8s before getting the ie80S, the ie80S is infinitely better, better fit, better sound, more depth, more bass..and they work which the ie8s didn't. The bass adjustment simply didn't work on the ie8s and then the sound started dropping, was never happy with them at all.

Meet the Sennheiser IE 80 S

However you look at it, they're a huge improvement on the ie8s which aren't good at all in my opinion. Personally I'm enjoying them, as for db output just turn up the volume on your player!!

Meet the Sennheiser IE 80 S

I got sent a pair of these (arrived today) direct from Sennheiser as I had to return my ie8s due to sound quality and volume dropping in one ear issues and they simply said they'd send the ie80S as an upgrade no quibbling! Excellent customer service! Only had 5 mins to check them out but...

    Selling ACS T1 LIVE advice

Thanks guys, seems ridiculous that acs won't remould for someone else, been very disappointed in that company for various reasons. Maybe I'll put them up on eBay depending on what I get back from the two companies listed, work out a price based on what the potential outlay is for a new owner...

    Selling ACS T1 LIVE advice

Had these ACS T1 LIVEs for a couple of years and they have pretty much sat unused due to most of my music work not requiring iems. Does anyone know what the score is Re selling these due to the custom moulds...can they be sent off for a new mould? If so what would people suggest is a reasonable...

ACS T1 Custom Review and impressions thread!

So have ordered the T1 Lives today from Boots as they're offering 15% off. Looking forward to using these as I'm a drummer so will be primarily using them for their intended (stage) use. Interestingly I am keen for them to get this 'ambient processor' sorted out as this will help with gigs...

custom moulds v generics - IEM system for drummer

Thanks for the replies...The v-moda, if i'm reading correctly are earplugs, yes? I have custom moulded earplugs already so definitely just after monitors. i'm interested to hear people's experiences comparing custom v generic fit. Astro What are the Etymotics you are using? H20 why would...

custom moulds v generics - IEM system for drummer

Hi again...I'm getting mixed reports on what is the 'best' option for playing drums live to sequencers over a band/on stage volume. Some say the custom moulds provide the best isolation but can leave you with a detached feeling from your instrument, others say that better isolation can be...

    recommendations of IEMs for drummer

I intend to get a feed which includes the drums and band back into my mixer, what's important to me is looking after my hearing so prefer isolation, definitely not one in one out as I've seen some people do ;-) The Unique Melody look good and the reviews on here are v impressive, they seem to...

    recommendations of IEMs for drummer

Thanks, that's another new name to me adding to the confusion lol...I'm willing to go up to the £750 mark in order to get a quality product, is it just subjectivity around this mark i.e. they are all good? Or is it that brands like livewires can offer the same at a more competitive price? For...

    recommendations of IEMs for drummer

Hi, first post on here. Been reading through posts for a while on the subject and the amount of info in overwhelming. Am based in the uk, will be using them as monitors for live playing, mainly to sequencers and also getting a band mix fed through to my own mixer, typical sort of thing. Going to...
