Yes had the ie8s before getting the ie80S, the ie80S is infinitely better, better fit, better sound, more depth, more bass..and they work which the ie8s didn't. The bass adjustment simply didn't work on the ie8s and then the sound started dropping, was never happy with them at all.

However you look at it, they're a huge improvement on the ie8s which aren't good at all in my opinion. Personally I'm enjoying them, as for db output just turn up the volume on your player!!

I got sent a pair of these (arrived today) direct from Sennheiser as I had to return my ie8s due to sound quality and volume dropping in one ear issues and they simply said they'd send the ie80S as an upgrade no quibbling! Excellent customer service! Only had 5 mins to check them out but...

Thanks guys, seems ridiculous that acs won't remould for someone else, been very disappointed in that company for various reasons. Maybe I'll put them up on eBay depending on what I get back from the two companies listed, work out a price based on what the potential outlay is for a new owner...

Had these ACS T1 LIVEs for a couple of years and they have pretty much sat unused due to most of my music work not requiring iems. Does anyone know what the score is Re selling these due to the custom moulds...can they be sent off for a new mould? If so what would people suggest is a reasonable...

Yes am still waiting for them...i think this ambient processor is going to be great for smaller gigs where the kit isn't miced up...hopefully it won't cust an am and a leg...it was a key factor in closing these.

So have ordered the T1 Lives today from Boots as they're offering 15% off. Looking forward to using these as I'm a drummer so will be primarily using them for their intended (stage) use. Interestingly I am keen for them to get this 'ambient processor' sorted out as this will help with gigs...
