I tried Uapp from phone connected via usb to SP1000 but it shows max 96khz playing back MQA. Anyone else tried and can get the max unfold?

Which APK is this? When I used side loaded Tidal on SP1000 the interface does not look like this.

Thanks, interesting that AKconnect let's you stream masters from another phone but the SP1000 cannot access masters directly. Its fiddly but at least can see the MQA bit rate etc

I agree with the sleekness of the G6 compared to the Granbeat.  The Granbeat is twice as thick as any other mobile phone I have.  If compared to a phone and dac/amp stack then it may come out as thinner :)

Try installing gsam and look under app usage, background cpu.  Like I said for me it was Google photos just draining battery life and it wasn't even doing it via data transfer.  It was churning up cpu usage for no reason.

Try disabling Google photos and choose to uninstall updates.  Happened to me but couldn't find a way to have it installed and not drain battery.

Quick viewpoint, had the G6 for 3 days.  So far it seems to be similar to the V20 except bass is less and mids not so forward.  The treble seems better as a result of the changes to bass and mids.  Amp power seems similar to V20, using EL8 closed need to trick it into high mode same as V20...
